This non-toxic, anti-slip coating can be used for painting walkways and asphalt or concrete courts for sports, making it the preferred choice or active sports with pickleball and basketball.

Alpha Grip can be applied quickly and easily with a roller. It's typically dry to the touch within 1 hours and fully cured in 24 hours. For athletic court outdoor concrete surfaces we require Hydro Prime to ensure best adhesion and to prevent moisture issues. • Read product label and Technical Data Sheet (TDS) thoroughly before application to review safety precautions, surface preparation, and full application instructions.
• Videos are available to illustrate basic application instructions.
• Always wear the recommended safety equipment and follow safety precautions.
• Slight color variations are possible between different lot numbers. We recommend mixing paint from different lot numbers together to achieve consistent color results.

• Surface preparation varies by surface. Please review the TDS for detailed information.
• Do not apply when surface temperature is below 50F (10C). Do not apply if precipitation is expected within 24 hours of application.
• All substrates must be clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, soil, soap residue, wax, flaking paint, and other soluble contaminants. Areas with oil buildup or existing epoxy coatings may require power washing or abrading the surface before application.
• Moisture barriers are highly recommended. New concrete will require additional prep with a concrete densifier or water barrier membrane. Contact us for details. Always test product for proper adhesion. Consider using SlipDoctors Resurfacer to get better consistency and coverage.

• Avoid evening and night applications when possible due to cooler temperatures. At lower temperatures or high humidity, extra time will be required for the paint to dry.
• Use a drill mixer or hand stir to thoroughly mix Alpha Grip before application. Stir frequently to ensure even additive distribution. No thinning is required.
• Apply using a 3/8 inch nap roller. Apply in uniform coats with light, even pressure. Avoid thick coats.
• Wait 1-2 hours to apply second coat. The second coat should be applied at a right angle to the first coat.
• CLEAN UP: Clean spills, splatters, tools and other equipment with warm soapy waters.

• When applying Alpha Grip outdoors in freezing temperatures, start by thoroughly cleaning and repairing the concrete surface to ensure it is free of debris and structurally sound. Apply Hydro Prime, a penetrating sealer, to reduce water absorption, followed by our concrete and masonry primer, Prime Coat, to enhance adhesion and durability. Once both products have fully cured, apply Alpha Grip in thin, even coats, following all temperature guidelines and recommended curing times. Finally, monitor the weather to ensure temperatures remain above the minimum required during application and curing—this helps the coating form a strong, resilient bond that resists freeze-thaw damage.

• For general cleaning and maintenance, rinse with pH-neutral cleaner and low-pressure rinse.
