SlipDoctors Hydro Prime is a premium, zero-VOC penetrating crystalline sealer designed to strengthen, waterproof, and prime concrete, masonry, and cement surfaces. Its advanced vapor barrier formula deeply penetrates the substrate, creating a permanent internal seal that significantly reduces moisture ingress while maintaining the surface's breathability. This sealer prevents trapped moisture, enhances adhesion, and reduces the risk of bubbling, peeling, and other coating failures.

Hydro Prime is ideal for a variety of applications, including pickleball and basketball courts, driveways, parking areas, sidewalks, and other high-traffic concrete and masonry surfaces. It works seamlessly with SlipDoctors coatings like Alpha Grip, Tuff Grip, Ultra Grip, Dura Grip, Deck Grip, and others. This non-toxic, eco-friendly formula is easy to apply with a low-pressure sprayer, ensuring even coverage and minimizing runoff for reliable, consistent results.

Hydro Prime is the first step in a three-step process to enhance coating and paint durability. Start by applying Hydro Prime to create a moisture barrier and seal the surface, followed by Prime Coat Resurfacer if using a color paint, and then apply the paint. Prime Coat Resurfacer is not needed for transparent coatings.

Hydro Prime provides a strong foundation for long-lasting, high-performance surfaces, ensuring that your concrete or masonry surfaces remain durable and resilient under heavy foot traffic and exposure to elementsindoors or outdoors.

• Using a low-pressure sprayer (40 psi) with a fan-type nozzle, apply first treatment in an overlapping pattern, to refusal.
• Approximately 20-40 minutes later, apply a second treatment in an overlapping pattern, again to refusal.
• Areas that absorb the sealer at a faster rate may require additional treatment.
• Avoid over-application or ponding as it may cause discoloration on the surface. Brush, broom, or mop any ponded material into more absorbent areas.
• Approximately 30-40 minutes after the final application of HYDRO PRIME, apply a light push coat of potable water at approximately 300 sq. ft. per gallon to the surface. The application of potable water pushes the treatment deeper into the substrate and leaves the surface more open to accept other coatings or overlays.
• After the final application of potable water, the treated area can be put back into service when the surface is dry to touch.
• Hydro Prime must be allowed to cure for 1-7 days, depending upon temperature, humidity, and density of the concrete, before any other type of surface material is applied.

Clean Up: Rinse application equipment with water as necessary.
