Mixing

  • Stir each component to a uniform consistency using a slow speed explosion proof drill with a Jeffy Mixer. Do not mix by hand. Make sure any pigment that settled on the bottom is incorpo- rated. Do not vary proportions.
  • Mix the entire container of Base (Part A) with the entire container of Hardener (Part B) with slow speed explosion proof drill with a Jiffy Mixer.
  • Thin up to 10% by volume for airless spray and up to 20% by volume for conventional spray. When rolling, thin 10-20% by volume.
  • POT LIFE: Three (3) Hours @ 75oF (23o).

Application

  • Do not apply until the surface has been properly prepared.
  • Always apply a test patch for approval prior to application.
  • Do not apply to surfaces below 45oF (7oC) or above 120oF (48oC). Do not apply over dew or frost.
  • Surface should be dry and at least 5oF above the dew point. Do not apply over expansion joints.
  • Immediately after mixing, apply using a 3/8” nap roller.
  • USED AS PRIMER: Apply two coats at approximately 5-7 mil DFT for light traffic areas. For heavy forklift and high-abrasion areas, a 2-3 mil DFT thickness is recommended. USED WITH FLAKE SYSTEMS: Apply between 120-150 square feet per gallon, approximately 8-10 mils DFT.
  • For safety and proper product curing, good ventilation is necessary when painting indoors or in confined areas.
  • NOTE: Slight color variations are possible between different lot numbers. For this reason, we recommend mixing paint from different lot numbers together to achieve consistent color results.
