The product is excellent; however, after being placed in a steam room for three weeks, it began to flake off.
My enclosed trailer is 7 feet wide by 16 feet long. I ordered 2 gallons of medium gray
I did this when the trailer was new so there was not excessive dirt, oil, contaminants in the wood for the floor
I cleaned the floor with a broom, used a small, disposable brush to do all the edge work, and poured the epoxy on the floor and then spread it around with a 9 inch roller with an adjustable length handle.
The whole process was reasonably simple and straightforward.
I did notice after the first coat was put down and left overnight. The wood absorbed a lot of it, and there were some bear spots. I anticipated this when I ordered the epoxy. I planned on doing a second coat.
When I laid the second coat down, I used pool filter sand as the traction material. 50 pound bag was approximately $25 at the local hardware store. I only needed 5 to 8 pounds of sand to do the trailer.
Overall, it looks good and the project turned out just as I had hoped.
