SlipDoctors’ safety tapes and stair treads provide an anti-slip surface that is durable and effective with industrial grade adhesion and traction.
Follow the instructions below to ensue maximum performance in all environments.
Step 1: Keep the material in a dry, warm environment in the original protection packaging.
Step 2: A clean, dry surface is essential. Use an Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) cleaner to remove surface contaminants and residues (paint flakes, etc).
Step 3: Porous surfaces must be sealed prior to application to prevent moisture from interfering with adhesion.
SlipDoctors’ Primer and Edge Fix are sold separately. These products are helpful to ensure reliable application results.
Required for 5-year warranty.

Step 4: Peel back part of the release liner, press the adhesive firmly onto the prepared surface, and slowly keep peeling back the liner while applying the tape or stair tread. Try to ensure the tape is not stretched or pulled too tightly.
Step 5: Once applied, press tape down firmly using even pressure with a seam or decorating roller.
If correctly applied the new anti-slip tape or stair tread can be walked on instantly. You will get maximum benefit from the adhesive system after 48 hours.
