Spreading Rate

• Coverage will vary depending on the condition and porosity of the surface.
Approximately 760 sq ft per 5-gallon pail at 5 wet mils each coat on a smooth surface with low porosity.
• If the surface is not smooth, is pitted and/or has a higher porosity, multiple coats may be needed.
• If multiple coats are needed, coverage per bucket will be decreased relative to the surface conditions.
• Performance is better if multiple thin coats are applied instead of one thick coat.

Application

• Do not apply until the surface has been properly prepared.
• Always apply a test patch for approval prior to application.
• Mix thoroughly before use to ensure uniform consistency, application, and performance. For optimum performance and durability, apply two (2) thin coats of 5 mils each. A third coat may be applied to high-traffic areas such as entrances, exits, and drive lanes.
• Application by squeegee, brush or roller should begin by mixing the product thoroughly and pouring half of the content of the pail onto the surface. Start application parallel to the driveway or longest direction of the slab, starting at the furthest point allowing the first coat to dry.
• Apply a second coat perpendicular to the first coat.
• Do not dilute and only apply at a minimum temperature of 50ᵒF (10ᵒC).
• Ponding or puddling of PRIME COAT must be avoided. Heavy application over 5 mils will take considerably longer to dry. If ponding or puddling is found, back brush or roll these areas to remove excess product.

NOTE: Slight color variations are possible between different lot numbers. For this reason, we recommend mixing paint from different lot numbers together to achieve consistent color results.
