Introducing our exclusive roll-on anti-slip coating Floor Grip - a transparent, self-leveling urethane sealer that is 100% waterborne and effectively prevents slip-and-fall accidents when applied correctly. Suitable for different types of floors: natural hardwood, engineered hardwood, bamboo, vinyl, VCT, LVT, linoleum, laminate, cork, epoxy, and previously sealed floors.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, Floor Grip, when applied with our proprietary additive and crosslinker (both included), delivers a robust high-traction surface that is resistant to scratches and chemicals. This solution is particularly beneficial for preventing slips for both humans and pets. Floor Grip boasts a drying time of 6–12 hours, making it versatile for interior or exterior applications. Ideal for hospitals, hotels, or any facility that values slip resistance and a glossy finish. However, it is generally not recommended for use in dance, tap, or ballet studios due to its coarse texture. Choose between a gloss or matte finish to suit your preferences.

Safety Precautions: When handling the product, it's essential to wear gloves at all times. Before applying ensure any wax or polish has been removed from the surface. For better adhesion, consider lightly scuffing the floor using a maroon pad or 320-400 grit sandpaper. Before application, thoroughly clean the surface and remove any dust from the floor and surrounding structures. Always safeguard neighboring surfaces like carpet, metal, and others. Remember, new floors are ready for coating only after completing the aforementioned procedures.

Surface Preparation: All substrates must be clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, soil, soap residue, wax, flaking paint, and other soluble contaminants. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, such as Pine-Sol and Fabuloso. Do not apply if rain is forecast in the next 24 hours, on damp days, or when the surface temperature is below 40F(4C) above 80F (27C).

Application Instructions:
  • Step 1: TEST SAMPLE: Floor Grip should be tested on flooring surfaces before full application. To prepare test sample, pour a small amount of Floor Grip into a separate container with a small amount of additive, mix well, do not shake. Apply to a clean inconspicuous area of your floor and allow to dry completely.
  • Step 2: Floor Grip can be applied in either 2 or 3 coats. Each coat consists of Floor Grip + Crosslinker + Additive.
  • Step 3: Once ready for full application, determine the number of coats you plan to apply. Prepare a solution for each coat separately in a sturdy container. Add the appropriate amount of Crosslinker to the container, dividing it between the containers for each coat. NOTE: Once Crosslinker is added to the Floor Grip, the solution must be applied to the floor within 4-6 hours. CAUTION! MIX WELL BEFORE APPLYING!
  • Step 4: Add an appropriate amount of additive to the solution, depending on the number of coats, and mix well. Medium texture is recommended. Read the additive bottle label for instructions.
  • Step 5: Using a 3/8 inch nap roller, apply Floor Grip in uniform coats at a moderate speed to prevent foaming. For best performance, avoid thick coats, apply the second coat at a right angle to the first coat.
  • Step 6: Clean paint tools with soap and water.

Maintenance: For general cleaning and maintenance, use a light pressure rinsing. For best results to remove oily deposits or other foreign matter, apply pH-neutral cleaner at recommended dilution rate and scrub lightly with a soft bristle deck brush. Do not use alcohol-based cleaners, such as Pine-Sol or Fabuloso
