I have a high traffic indoor staircase with 5 steps. The surface is tile with wood across the front of the step. It looks great, but my daughter and I have slipped and fallen backwards and slid down the stairs due to the lack of friction. A concussion resulted in one case. I have looked and looked over the past several years for a product that keep the nice look of the wood but provide traction for socks. I bought the SlipDocters Safety spray and fixed the problem in 2 minutes (plus and hour of drying) It does have a chemical smell while drying so I just left the house and opened some windows) The result is so worth it! Now I'm going to use it on my laminate stairs down to the basement. Thanks! for providing the exact solution I needed.
It does exactly what is is designed to do. It is very easy to apply. It is not visible on the surface once it dries. Very niche product and I am not aware of anything else like it.
We have indoor wood stairs that were slippery in socks. I sprayed a light coat and it was fixed in 20 minutes.
My dog jumps in the air when I get her food. SO excited. The kitchen floors are wood and she sometimes slips when she lands. I used this spray and can't say enough good things about it! I put on two layers. There's no visual difference in where I did and didn't spray. But, Daisy no longer slips when she lands. I love it!!
