GripX is an anti-slip floor finish and sealer formulated for use on both indoor and outdoor surfaces to effectively increase traction. The coating is versatile and durable making GripX non-slip sealer an excellent choice for high-traffic concrete and tile areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, or outdoors on patios and walkways.

This non-slip concrete coating can be used to enhance both shoe and barefoot traction over concrete, lueders, brick and travertine walkways, and many other surfaces around pools. It is an anti-slip coating that can also be used for treating stamped concrete patios and decks, and a variety of other natural stone surfaces, including limestone, flagstone, quartz, slate, and marble.

Getting the most out of GripX on concrete starts with understanding the condition and profile of your surface before you apply. A clean, correctly prepared concrete surface allows GripX to penetrate and seal evenly, giving you consistent traction across the entire area. NOTES
  • Read product label and Technical Data Sheet thoroughly before application to review safety precautions, surface preparation, and full application instructions.
  • Videos are available to illustrate basic application instructions.
  • Always wear the recommended safety equipment and follow safety precautions.
SURFACE PREPARATION
  • Surface preparation varies by surface. Please review the TDS for detailed information.
  • Surface, air, and product temperature must be above 40 F (4 C) and at least 5 F (-15 C) above the dew point.
  • All substrates must be clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, oil, grease, soil, soap residue, wax, flaking paint, and other soluble contaminants.
  • Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.
  • For best adhesion, lightly sand surface using 400 grit sandpaper or etch using SlipDoctors Maintain Grip.
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry completely before application.
APPLICATION
  • Test GripX in a small inconspicuous area before full application.
  • Pour GripX into a separate container and stir thoroughly to make sure Additive is evenly distributed. Stir often during application to ensure consistent distribution. Do not thin.
  • Apply two coats using a 3/8 inch nap roller. Allow the first coat to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the second coat. The second coat should be applied at a right angle to the first coat.
  • Depending on the porosity of the surface, additional coats can be applied for increased durability and traction.
  • Allow 6-12 hours to cure for light traffic and 24 hours for normal traffic.
  • CLEAN UP: While GripX is still wet, application equipment can be cleaned with soap and water.
MAINTENANCE
  • For general cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner to scrub lightly with a soft bristle deck brush or use a low-pressure rinse. Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners.
