We purchased stone grip to coat the tile on our porch and patio. It has been very successful. It added enough grip that when it gets wet we don't worry about ourselves, grand-children or elderly parents slipping. I like that you can leave it on longer to get a better grip if you feel you need it. It also did not discolor our ceramic tile.
I bought the Stone Grip for our shower floor, which is a natural stone/pebble tile. It was very slippery, and I had already slipped and fallen once. I wanted to find something that improved traction without compromising the look of the tile, and this product did exactly that. This was very easy to apply, and didn’t take very long at all - I did let it sit for 15 min before rinsing with the water/baking soda neutralizer mix, and then I gave the entire shower floor a good final rinse with clean water. Now we feel safer in our shower because the floor has much better traction, and the tile still looks as beautiful as the day it was installed! I’m very glad I found this product!
I just installed stone grip in our new master bath. We haven't moved into our new house yet but stone grip dramatically improved traction in our bathroom.
I didn’t want a lot of grout on my shower floor. I laid large porcelain tiles, which were beautiful but slippery. I applied the Stone Grip and left it on for 15 minutes. Then I rinsed it off. It worked immediately. I can’t see any difference, but I can feel it. It’s not slippery anymore.
