The BOT-3000E is a drag-sled meter, which means it crawls along the floor under its own power at a constant speed measuring the resistance to slip of a standardized piece of rubber loaded into the bottom of the machine. It can perform this test without any human input except for the pressing of a button, with product reports that are accurate and reliable. The BOT 3000E also has the ability to take pictures while running the test. The device is limited to some steps, bathtubs, and ramps. Please review measurements of your testing areas prior to use in the field.
